Hello there! Time flies when you are new parents. So much has happened since we wrote last. We've spent many hours (especially Quezia) reading and taking classes on caring for our baby. We've become expert diaper changers. And I've learned several ways to get Daniel to giggle. It's so cool.
J/Q Missions Moments (since last update):
That's the highlights. A lot of our lives revolve around little Daniel. He's so wonderful. Also, soon Quezia and I should be hearing from the INS about her immigration process. We are expecting them to ask us to go to Brazil to process her papers. The only tough thing about this is we don't know exactly when they will ask us to go. It is frustrating getting any answers from the INS. So pray with us that all the timing, red-tape, and finances will work out for this. This fall there is a course here at Woodcrest I want to take called Advanced Principles of Communications. The training this course provides would help me a lot with the projects I'm doing. Plus it would go towards my long delayed degree program. We're praying that I'll be accepted and able to do this course. Coming up at the start of next year we are hoping to do a LTS (Leadership Training School) in Barbados. It is a key course in missions training that gathers many missionaries from around the world. I believe it will be a much needed time of renewal for us. Please pray and partner with us financially when we take this next step in missions. It seems like a huge challenge to us. But we don't want to give in to fear or disbelief. I believe it's what God wants. So that's our goal. |
