Blankets for Quake Victims

From HertsAd.co.uk:

"AN appeal for blankets, sleeping bags and duvets has been launched by the Harpenden-based Christian organisation Youth With A Mission to help survivors of the South Asian earthquake.

But people only have until tomorrow (Friday) night to respond to the appeal.

Mission spokesperson Susie Peachey, said: 'This is a very specific request for these items. We do not want duvet covers or other types of clothing and bedding. We have our own people on the ground in Kashmir to distribute the goods and an airline ready to fly supplies out. Now we just need the support of the public.'

Youth With A Mission will have its reception centre at The Highfield Oval in Ambrose Lane, Harpenden, open until 8pm tomorrow night.

Susie added: 'We know this is short notice but we hope as many people as possible will help."
